TEXAS RIG FLY
DESCRIPTION
The Texas Rig is one of the most effective techniques for catching bass with conventional gear, and this pattern is an attempt to recreate this method with a fly rod. Crayfish patterns are traditionally red, orange, and brown but bass have been eating black and blue soft plastic imitations for decades. This pattern is not for the faint of heart, but neither are bass on a fly rod!
